    Asheville, NC named “10th Most Charitable City” in survey

    In a California-based study by NerdWallet, a consumer finance website, it was determined that Asheville, NC ranked in the top 10 for most charitable city in the U.S.

    The study mentioned major non-profit organizations like Habitat for Humanities and Manna FoodBank, which served approximately 100,000 people in over 16 countries last year.

    On a larger scale, the World Giving Index ranks the U.S. 5th for most giving country in the world.
